Privacy Notice — Ovlandra Limited

1. Who we are

OVLANDRA LIMITED ("OVLANDRA", "we", "us", "our") is a private company limited by shares, incorporated in the Federal Republic of Nigeria on 20 May 2026 under the Companies and Allied Matters Act 2020, with registration number RC 9561385. Our registered office is in Lagos, Nigeria.

This notice explains how we handle information about visitors to this website and people who correspond with us, in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation 2019, and other applicable privacy laws.

2. Information we handle

We aim to collect as little personal information as possible. The categories of data we handle are:

  • Information you send to us. If you email us at hello@ovlandra.com or otherwise contact us, we receive the contents of your message and your contact details.
  • Technical information collected automatically. When you visit this website, our hosting provider may log standard request information such as your IP address, browser type, referring page, and the pages you viewed. This is used to operate, secure, and improve the website.

This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. It does not collect biometric, financial, or location data.

3. How we use information

We use the information described above to:

  • Respond to enquiries, proposals, and project requests.
  • Provide, secure, and improve the website and our services.
  • Keep records required for tax, audit, and regulatory purposes.
  • Prevent misuse and protect our legal rights.

4. Lawful basis

We process personal data on one or more of the following legal bases, as appropriate:

  • Consent — where you have voluntarily provided your information to contact us.
  • Performance of a contract or steps preparatory to one — to respond to enquiries and deliver work you have engaged us for.
  • Legitimate interests — to operate and secure the website, communicate with prospective clients, and run our business responsibly.
  • Legal obligation — to comply with Nigerian law, including tax and corporate record-keeping requirements.

5. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share information only with:

  • Service providers who help us operate the business — for example, email, hosting, and document-management vendors — under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection terms.
  • Professional advisers such as legal and accounting firms, where reasonably required.
  • Authorities, where we are required to do so by law or to protect our legal rights.

6. International transfers

Some of our service providers may process data outside Nigeria. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on the safeguards permitted under the Nigeria Data Protection Act, such as adequacy decisions, contractual protections, or other lawful mechanisms.

7. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purposes set out above, or as required by Nigerian law. Correspondence and project records are typically retained for the duration of the relationship and for a reasonable period afterwards for audit, dispute-resolution, and statutory purposes.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Request erasure of data we no longer have a lawful basis to keep.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Receive a copy of data you provided in a portable format.
  • Withdraw any consent you have given.
  • Complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (ndpc.gov.ng) or another competent supervisory authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@ovlandra.com with the subject "Privacy Request". We will respond within the period required by applicable law.

9. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No system can be guaranteed completely secure; if you believe your data has been compromised, contact us immediately.

10. Children
